The clay system uses standard but deactivated 12 bore shot guns with built in infra-red technology. These guns feel and shoot like "the real thing" so you get all the fun and excitement, but without the recoil and bruises associated with the painful kick back you get from a standard shotgun! You don't even need ear defenders.
Up to 5 people at a time can compete against each other shooting at the same clay target.
Competitors hear a simulated "bang"and a green light on their gun indicating a hit. Hits are automatically registered on the electronic score board so you can see how you and your competitors are doing.
The system is perfectly safe, fun and totally addictive.
The plastic clays are fired from a standard clay pigeon trap but have a reflective strip to enable hits to be registered by the system.
A range of different shooting games and formats can be used to make them as challenging as the competitors skill level is.
A safety briefing and instruction is provided by our fully trained operator to ensure everyone gets the best opportunity to do well. Bunting will be erected to fence off the area and we will even bring a gazebo for shelter if required.
We need a minimum space approximately 30m by 15m but a larger area allows for more variety and challenging targets.
We suggest an age limit of around 10 years but generally providing they can hold a 12 bore shot gun they are good to go.
Kent Laser Clays are fully insured and a full risk assessment is available by request.
