Q: What size area do you need to set up? A: The system requires an area, preferably grassed, of about 30m x 10m. The participants can stand on a hard-standing area. Q: Whats the maximum number of people who can use it? A: There is no maximum. As the clay is being shot using an infra red beam up to five people can shoot the same clay at the same time. As such, waiting time is hugely reduced. Q: Do you need power to plug the system in? A: No, all equipment including the score board, clay trap and even the guns have there own power supply. Q: How old do you need to be to use the guns? A: We recommend a minimum age of 10 but this is purely due to the strength needed to hold the gun. If you can hold the gun safely you can have a go. Q: Is there any recoil with the guns? A: No, as the guns are using infra red beams as opposed to bullets there is no recoil. Q: Do I need a shotgun licence? A: No, the guns do not require a licence. Q: Is it safe? A: Yes, the guns only emit a infra red beam, similar to that used in a tv remote control. Q: It's England........what happens if it rains? A: The system can still be used in wet weather. We do provide a gazebo for shelter for the participants. Q: Do the clays break and make a mess? A: No, the guns discharge a beam which is reflected by the modified clay pigeons which is registered by the gun and scoreboard. The clays land and are collected so it is environmentally friendly and clean.
